I received treatment here due to pregnancy-related hypertension, visiting both the Nephrology and Hypertension departments alongside my obstetric care. As this hospital is a core facility in Kanagawa Prefecture’s perinatal emergency medical system, I felt reassured throughout my visits.
For those who wish to focus on breastfeeding, or for expectant mothers with pregnancy- or delivery-related risks, I believe this hospital is a good choice. High-risk pregnancy consultations are held on Monday mornings, so patients with higher risks are seen during that time. During both outpatient visits and hospitalization, the staff worked in close coordination with the Nephrology and Hypertension departments to provide comprehensive care.
Since the hospital strongly encourages breastfeeding, it may not be ideal for those who do not plan to breastfeed. However, for mothers who do, they provide thorough guidance, including at night, which makes it an excellent hospital in my view.
Of course, pregnancy and childbirth come with many different hopes and circumstances, so each person’s experience will differ. But personally, I am very glad I was able to give birth here. If I have another opportunity, I would choose this hospital again. I hope it continues to thrive as a leading perinatal hospital.

I booked via the website, so there was no waiting time. Booking in advance makes the process straightforward. The staff, doctors, everyone is very kind. They even guide you to areas like the pharmacy. I must recommend it. I booked appointments for dermatology and gynaecology (both female doctors). I’m still taking the medication, so I don’t know if it’s working yet. However, this place is very advanced, clean, and well-organised.

I had a wonderful experience at Yokohama Front Clinic. I underwent minor surgery to remove a splinter and was also treated for redness and itching. The clinic interior was unified in a clean, calming colour scheme, featuring plush sofas and a pleasant fragrance, making the waiting time quite bearable. I visited on a weekday morning and the wait was only about 20 minutes. The receptionist’s manner was also kind and pleasant. During the consultation, the doctor listened attentively to my rather disjointed explanation, summarised the key points accurately, and I was struck by how quick-witted they were. They kindly asked, “Is there anything you don’t understand or would like to ask?”, which made me feel very comfortable speaking.

I gave birth here in July. Whilst many hospitals prohibit partners from attending, it was wonderful that this hospital allowed it. The postnatal hospital stay was utterly splendid. The meals were absolutely delicious, and the midwives were truly, truly kind. Even during prenatal check-ups, the longest wait was under an hour, so waiting times were minimal. The doctors were straightforward and efficient, making the check-ups run smoothly. Whenever I asked questions about things I didn’t understand, they explained things until I was satisfied. If I lived nearby, this would be the maternity hospital I’d want to choose for a second child.
